What is Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (E VCO)?

Extra Virgin coconut oil is derived from the fresh, fully grown inner meat of coconuts, and it is obtained without the application of heat or the use of chemical refining, bleaching, or deodorizing processes. The oil retains its original characteristics and is suitable for human consumption without further treatment.

Production process of Extra virgin coconut oil

Extra Virgin coconut oil is sourced from coconut milk, which is extracted from fresh coconuts. After separating the coconut milk from the coconut meat, it undergoes various processes, including fermentation, churning (centrifugal separation), chilling, and enzyme activities.

The Extra virgin coconut oil's raw ingredients and extraction method prohibit the use of heat. Therefore, extreme care was taken when selecting the kernel, and coconut milk, the raw component, should not be exposed to heat or sunlight throughout the entire procedure. Centrifugal technique is considered significantly superior to the cold-pressed technique.  In centrifugal extraction involves rapidly spinning coconut Milk, allowing for quicker separation of oil from the milk.

If you need to liquefy the oil during the winter, place it in a small glass container and immerse it in warm water; never directly heat it on the stove.
